The Horary Practitioner is devoted to the branch of astrology that answers questions through their horoscopes. This Journal features proven, not speculative, horary charts; they answer real questions by real people. Interpretations are based on traditional methods as taught by William Lilly, author of Christian Astrology, published in London in 1647, and on modern research relating to traditional theory. Our philosophy is to emphasize Lilly’s rules and procedures, and to feature as many clear, informative example charts as possible. We are also including other authors from the same time frame in upcoming issues. You will see references to William Ramesey, Henry Coley, Partridge, Griffin, Bonatus, Dariot, Blagrave, Culpeper and Griffin, to name a few.
